About Triple Crown
Triple Crown Realty Trust (TCRT, “Fund,” “we” or “us”) was formed for the principal purpose of sourcing, funding, acquiring, managing and developing investment opportunities across a variety of real-estate related asset classes. These opportunities are predominantly in Middle America, with approximately half in southwest Wichita, Kan., and the other half spread out among other locations along the I-35 corridor. The Fund is based in Kansas City, Mo., and Wichita, and its managers (“Managers”) are TCRS, LLC and B12 Real Estate Advisors.
Richard Napper serves as the development consultant for Crossgate District and assists in other TCRT investment segments. He served as the master plan developer on behalf of EPR Properties for the Legends Auto Mall, Waterside Retail Development and US Soccer National Training Center, a 350-acre, mixed-use master plan adjacent to The Legends at Village West in Wyandotte County, Kan. In addition, he was involved in numerous aspects with the Prairieire Development in Overland Park, Kan.
Board of Directors
Dan, a Managing Director for Aspen Funds, has been involved in the institutional investment and lending markets since 1992. Prior to working with Aspen Funds, he was a Managing Partner at B12 Capital Partners. From 1998-2014, he was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Legal Oicer of Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc., an NYSE listed asset management irm with $100 billion in assets under management. He has extensive experience in raising capital through public and private oferings of securities. At Waddell, he oversaw the operation of more than 100 mutual funds and investment products and was responsible for the compliance function. Dan has served on the boards of numerous for-profit and non-profit entities. He is Chairman of the Board of TCRT, LLC, the Fund’s GP, and is responsible for providing disciplined investment direction and oversight to the portfolio.
Gregory, a Principal of B12 Real Estate Advisors, LLC, and co-founder and Principal of B12 Capital Partners, LLC, has been involved in the institutional investment and lending markets since 1989. He has been a principal in three private equity funds and led more than 20 direct investments in operating companies, employing return strategies for both the operating entity and its underlying real estate assets. Greg has served on bank loan committees, alternative asset investment committees, and since 2008 has served on the board of Equity Bank (EQBK), which went public in 2015 following a similar growth and acquisition strategy like that being employed at Triple Crown. He has had extensive involvement with and served on the boards of numerous for-proit and non-proit entities.
As Principal of Lange Real Estate and TCRS, LLC, Jeff has had a presence in the Crossgate District since 1988. He has extensive expertise in all areas of the real estate industry, including land sales, land development, new home construction, new and existing home sales, commercial sales, property management, banking, leasing and appraisals. Among his numerous business ventures, Jeff is the managing partner of Equisset, an organization that offers asset-based financial solutions, and of Belt Leasing, a business equipment leasing company. He is also the Managing Partner of RedGuard, which manufactures and distributes blast-resistant buildings globally.
Scott is President and CEO of Lubrication Engineers, a Wichita-based manufacturing company with more than 100 employees in the U.S. and a worldwide network of independent consultants and distributors. He also serves as vice president of Alpha BioSystems, a company that manufactures all-natural products for improving soil health and yielding stronger crops and vegetation. Scott served as the 2017 Chairman of the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors and is on the executive board of the Greater Wichita Partnership. He helped form two Wichita business initiatives: the Entrepreneurial Task Force and the e2e Accelerator, and he serves as Co-Chair of Project Wichita, a 10-year regional visioning initiative. He and his family raise, train and breed horses at their Cowskin Creek Clydesdale Farm in Goddard, Kan.
Rachel is the Director of Real Estate for BizCore Pros, an ailiate of TCRS, LLC, that provides Human Capital, Facilities and Information Technology services to the Lange umbrella of companies. As a Director of the Fund, her responsibilities include strategy implementation and development of processes, systems and strategies around our acquisition and development activities. She also manages marketing efforts and property management responsibilities.
A Principal of B12 Real Estate Advisors, LLC, Mike has a blend of investing and operating experience. He has been a Partner in B12 Capital Partners since 2007, sourcing and directing investments in portfolio companies in growth financing and change of control transactions. Prior to B12, Mike spent 25 years in various operating roles with a focus on sales and marketing leadership. He has also served on several boards of manufacturing and distribution companies and non-profit organizations.
Sale Lease Back was created to manage single tenant sale leaseback activities – primarily in the industrial asset class – to balance out the portfolio and diversify the Fund’s holdings across the broader Middle America target markets.
We are actively looking for sale leaseback opportunities of industrial properties located in the central portion of the country. Including Austin to Minneapolis and Denver to Cleveland.
